Great groupon deal. They also have great combo specials. I always get hotlinks and one or two chicken pieces, with mac & cheese and potato salad. My Groupon deal would usually be $14 for a $20 value. At the end, I would only pay $14 more for both my combo and my husband's combo. Basically our total all together would only be $28. Nice.

Very spacious location. Lots of space to sit & enjoy your meal. They also have their own hot sauces. Haven't tried it yet, but that's really cool.

One time we did a "to go" order, and how they packed it up for us was so cute. It was so convenient for when I came home. All set up and a to go box, and ready to eat!

    Pretty good customer service

    Review #264 - 2019

After playing tourist with my daughter for a good portion of the day, I was too lazy to cook dinner so I decided to place an order and pick it up on our way home.

We showed up around 7 PM on Monday, September 23rd & the place was empty so we were able to get our order immediately.

We got home around 8 PM so it was less than an hour before we actually got to eat dinner.

I was craving their beef ball tip so I ordered 2 pounds of it (they packed them in two separate boxes), because I remember it being one of my favorite meat from their Hercules location.  Sadly, the meat was really dry here, but it also had a lot of fat.  My son even told me not to order it from them next time.  Such a disappointment!

Thank goodness I decided to order 2 pounds of the pork ribs as well because that was better than the ball tip.  It was nice and soft.  It didn't have a whole lot of flavor, but I like their XXX spicy BBQ sauce so I always keep a bottle in my fridge for emergency situations like this.

I hope it's just this location that makes the ball tip so dry because I still want go try it at their other locations.

My husband recommended this deli for dinner since we were in the area and he loves all the sandwiches and says their sides are fresh and good. I absolutely agree! We ordered two warm sandwiches, the famous ball tip sandwich and steak sandwich. My steak sandwich was around $12-13 and I added 2 sides to share for about $3 or so extra by making it a combo. We tried the macaroni salad and potato salad and both were very good.

As for my steak sandwich it was warm, juicy, and the bbq sauce and juices from the meat were running through the sandwich and onto the bread (and my hands) making each bite better and better. The sandwiches have bbq sauce but there is also a counter with sauces for you to try ranging from regular bbq to spicy and it adds a lot of flavor to any sandwich!  The only thing keeping it from a five star is that I have had other sandwiches loaded with more meat for the same price so although its good meat, the portion was a tad light.

We decided to eat in and there was only one other couple, it was Tuesday afternoon an hour before close so there was plenty of booth seating facing the TV's were a fight was playing so we had dinner and a show.

I have gone to the Pleasanton location before. I'm   surprised to see the bad Yelp ratings but hey bad service will get you that but when we came everything went well and the cashier was friendly. The only tough part at times was understanding her with a very heavy accent.
We got the 3 way plate with hot link, tritip and BBQ ribs. The meat tender and juicy the hot link delish and spicy. I used the BBQ sauce with garlic was great for dipping and the meat came of the bones easily.
The coleslaw was effing amazing as well as the potato salad! I just killed that! Then we washed it all down with a Stella Artois. The rib eye sandwich was a hit and filling. The lime tator tots were good even though I never tasted the lemon??
Had a great dinner-maybe they have gotten better because we ate very well. Swing by.  :)
